1) What is the hardest thing about playing volleyball?
“Probably serve receive.”
2) How long have you been playing?
“This is my 4th year.”
3) What do you love most about volleyball?
“The excitement I get when I block someone or get a really good kill. But I also love the people and how supportive everyone is.”
4) What is your greatest strength as a player?
“Mentally I’d say positivity, but physically I would say my verticle.”
5) What advice would you give someone who is starting in volleyball?
“Be patient!!! Everything takes time, especially trying to learn everything because there is a lot to take in. Don’t let other people’s skills get to your head, your time will come.”
6) Do you do anything to warm up before the game?
“Yes, walking into a tournament I listen to jump around by house of pain but once I get to the court I do a jog around the convention center, high knees to the net and back, butt kicks, Frankenstein, roller coaster/flamingo, scoops, lunge and twist, and then I swing my legs back and forth on a chair.”
7) What are your goals for the season?
“Keep working on improving my vertical even more, work on hitting around the block, and I want to be able to play defense better because I never play back row.”
