Most of LMHS is firmly in the GenZ club, but Generation Alpha will be here next year and we might even have a few Millennials teaching our classes.  This begs the question:  which generation is the least annoying? 

First off – Generation Alpha

Gen Alpha is the newest generation heading up into LMHS, If you think Gen z sense of humor is bad you got another thing coming! Gen alpha is gonna be rolling into this campus with the worst jokes and terrifying interests. Gen Alpha is born between 2010 and 2025 coming in as the babies of the generations. This is where the ipad kids and tantrums come in, so let’s hope discipline will make it out alive!

Shyann Rose said “I don’t have an opinion on Gen alpha because they’re still growing, stinky kids.”

Next comes  – Generation Z

GenZ are kids born between 1997 and 2012.   They are called ‘digital natives’ for having dropped out of the womb with an iphone in their hands. They don’t really watch television that much but are happy to stream content.  They also don’t really like Hollywood celebrities and tend to prefer influencers and people being ‘genuine’ online. 

Shyann Rose thinks “Gen Z is funnier, they have better style and they create better content online.”

Finally – Millennials

Heading into LMHS, you might see a few teachers that fall into the Millennials generation. Millennials are born between 1981 and 1996.  Millennials are known as ‘work martyrs’ for being the older generation.  With the new development of technology most millennials happen to struggle, and with technology taking over this campus.. It’s definitely gonna be interesting. So buckle up and be patient with your fellow teachers!

When it comes to who has it better in this economy, Leigha Strickland thinks “Looking at the economy, Millennials because they are the ones to talk about it and the younger generations are.. broke.”
