My Opinion

Artificial intelligence over the last year has become many many times more useful and efficient than It used to be. And because of these newfound upgrades, it’s being used everywhere! And in my humble opinion its getting real old and annoying real fast. I mean it’s everywhere you look nowadays. People are using A.I to write their emails, A.I cashiers at some drive throughs, large corporations like coca cola using A.I art in their ads, And McDonalds has A.I art posters in their restaurants. And I’m sure at least 25% of the people in this school  have used A.i to cheat an assignment. The list just goes on and on and frankly I’m getting sick of it I mean like, whatever happened to doing things ourselves as human beings. But I also wonder what the people think, so lets hear some interviews.

The interviews I just mentioned

Interview #1: Enzio Perez and Thatcher  Loper

Q: Do you think A.I is being used too much?  A: “Yea definitely ” – Enzio Perez   “Oh for sure” – Thatcher Loper.            Q: where have you seen A.I being used too much or perhaps being used in ways it shouldn’t? A: “dude on Facebook all the posts are just bot accounts posting A.I art” – Enzio  “Yea that’s pretty much what I was gonna say” – Thatcher          Q: Ok, last one, what do you think of the dead internet theory? (The dead internet theory –  A theory that in the near future nearly half of the whole internet will just be bots and algorithms interacting with other bots and algorithms.) A: “I feel like it’s probably right” – Enzio  “I think its already happened, man” – Thatcher

Interview #2: Aidan Hutchinson

Q: Do you think A.I is being used too much?  A: Yea, wait no, uhh yes?  Q: You seemed really unsure about your answer, why? A: I don’t know I just don’t really think I know enough about the topic to make a full opinion you know? but if I had to pick one answer I would say it’s being used too much. Q: Where have you seen it being used too much or in ways it shouldn’t be? A: I see A.I being used in a bunch of stupid mobile app ads for all sorts of things that are just kind of stupid.

Interview #3 My dad. Before the interview starts, the reason I’m interviewing my dad is because he has a job where he  uses Technology and A.I almost everyday.

Q: Do you think A.I is being used too much A: hmm, it depends, on one hand it’s definitely being used poorly in a lot of ways, like for example: people building entire sites using it and people faking essays with it. But on the other hand it’s also being used in so many helpful ways! Q: what are those helpful ways? A: I don’t know all of them, but for what I do, sometimes I have to write code and scripts to help things run better as part of my job and what A.I does for me that makes all that easier is that if I have a specific end goal code or  script in mind, but don’t entirely know how to write it, I ask chatGPT to give me suggestions and methods I can use to help bring those ideas to life! Q: what do you think about the dead internet theory? A:Well, it is a serious concern, but I have faith that the internet will learn to use A.I tools properly and hopefully prevent this from happening.

Those are all  the major interviews I could get, across them all I think one main take away is that A.I is one of humanities most powerful tools and with great power comes great responsibility, we must use it properly.
