What is a favorite video game of students’ at Lake Mary High School? To find out, I am interviewing 10 random students that attend Lake Mary High School.
One Sophomore by the name of Landon Claessens replied “Brawl Stars is the best game to play. It is so much fun. There are lots of cool characters to unlock. 10 out of 10 for me.” I personally have never understood Brawl Stars, but many people seem to have a lot of fun playing this game. A Freshmen girl by the name of Addison Macnamara reported that her favorite game was Block Blast. “Block Blast is a good game because it passes the time when you are bored, and it’s fun to compete with friends for the highest score!” I agree with this, Block Blast is indeed a very fun game to play. It’s 100% free on mobile, and it is a great game to play in your free time. A Junior named Sophia Butcher says “Roblox is my favorite game to play. There are thousands of games to choose from, and I love customizing my avatar!” I agree with Sophia, Roblox is a great game. My favorite feature about Roblox is the many ways you can customize your avatar!
Next, I interviewed a Junior who preferred not to share his name for the interview. He told me that his favorite game to play was Minecraft. “It’s a cool way to be creative and have fun at the same time, especially with friends.” he says. Minecraft is a very Nostalgic game, because I remember playing it every day when I was younger with my sisters. It was always a blast fighting for survival and exploring an open world! My next interview was with a girl in her Sophomore year. “My favorite video game is Overwatch. I love how futuristic it looks.” I personally have never played Overwatch, but after watching videos of others playing the game, I concluded that it doesn’t seem like the type of game I would enjoy. The next interview was with a strange looking boy in his Sophomore year. “I love Genshin Impact, it’s the best game ever! I love Ayato, he’s so handsome, and I love cosplaying him!” I have never understood “cosplaying”, especially when it’s not Halloween, but hey, whatever floats your boat, right?
My last four interviews were with a group of guys playing a game on their phones. They were all playing Brawl Stars. “Brawl Stars is fun, but it’s not my favorite game. I prefer Fortnite over Brawl Stars.” One of the boys said. “I love Brawl Stars, and I’m good at the game too. I bet I can beat anyone who reads this interview.” Said another. The last two boys told me that their favorite game was also Brawl Stars but they don’t play video games often. These 10 interviews told me that a popular game among the students I interviewed was Brawl Stars, being the favorite of 5 of the 10 students. Overall, This interview was pretty fun to do, and I would do similar interviews in the future.
