AI advances by the day. People generally have mixed opinions, some like the idea, while some hate it. I interviewed 5 students at Lake-Mary Highschool on their thoughts and opinions of the topic in hand.

First, I interviewed Jazz, a senior. Jazz said that AI advancement will help the world and is something that is necessary. She expressed that AI can advance medicine, help businesses, and overall change the world. She is in support of AI advancement. Next, I interviewed Brock, a junior. Brock thinks that AI will slowly start to destroy the world. He said that jobs will start to get replaced with AI and workers will be left with no where to make money from. He is not in support of AI improvement and integration. After that, I interviewed Daniel, a junior. Daniel has mixed opinions on AI. He thinks that it could improve medicine and create new opportunities for a variety of things, but, he also thinks that it could deeply damage society’s structure. He says that if AI keeps improving, one day it might have a mind of it’s own and turn against humans. He is uncertain on AI progression. Then, I interviewed, Rye, a sophomore. Rye said that she is completely for AI. She expressed that AI is something that is becoming necessary for the people. She uses AI for help and assistance when doing homework and studying. She approves AI advancement. Lastly, I interviewed Freddy, a sophomore. Freddy likes the idea of AI improving, however, he doubts that it will work in action. He said that a lot of what AI developers are suggesting sounds good but it could be unfavorable to some. He suggested that these programs should be closely monitored and reviewed. Freddy is uncertain about AI and it’s advancement.

In short, there seems to be mixed opinions on the topic. Some think it’s a good improvement, while some think it will destroy society. What do you think about AI taking over?
