Have you ever looked at a food and thought “what in the world that…”? Some foods around the world seem really strange to us but people still eat them I talked to two students who were brave enough to try some weird foods and this is what they have to say.
Mikah and his crazy chicken feet obsession
When Mikahs mom first put chicken feet on his dinner plate he didn’t know what to think. Was his mom going crazy? But he still tried it. “It was chewy and hard to eat but it wasnt all that bad.” Even though it felt weird to chew on tiny bones, Mikah said he didn’t regret trying it. He would try eating feet again.
Barbara and her cow tongue
Barbara took on something even weirder, cow tongue. “I thought it was really freaky” she said. But once she got over that it was a tongue she gave it a try. “It tasted kind of like roast beef and it tasted like sandpaper”. I couldn’t stop thinking about what it was but it wasn’t that bad.” She said she might even try it again sometime if she was starving.
