1.What motivated you to want to pursue a career in this sport?
Ella: “I saw how much fun softball was so I wanted to try it.”
2.What drives you to train every day even on a bad day?
Ella: “I really want to make it far so just pushing myself and usually on a bad playing softball is a solution to feeling better.”
3.What is your favorite part about your sport?
Ella: “My favorite part is putting my trust in God and seeing myself succeed with Him by myself.”
4.What are your goals in the future with this sport?
Ella: “I wanna make it D1 or even professional.”
5.What does a typical practice and game day look like?
Ella: “Hitting off the tee,listening to music that hypes me up, and just going through the motions.”
6.What are the biggest challenges in this sport?
Ella: “The biggest challenge is definitely the mental part of it.”
7.Do you have a certain someone who pushes you to your furthest?
Ella: “My dad pushes me far because when he was my age he didn’t put in the work so he saw the consequences of that.”
8.Describe one of your worst performances and how you pushed through it.
Ella: “I don’t have a bad performance I remember of ,but I know when I play bad you just got to collect yourself and not get so angry and just trust that you will get through a slump.”
9.How do you handle pressure in this sport?
Ella: “I handle pressure by staying calm and trusting God.”
10.What do you recommend to someone about this sport?
Ella: “I recommend trusting the Lord because I don’t know where I would be without Him.”
11.What are you strengths and weaknesses in this sport?
Ella: “My strengths are hitting and my weaknesses are the mental aspect.”
