The Crumbl cookie company has made a big impression on Lake Mary.  Some people find their cookies to be the ultimate while many other compare the taste to mildly sweet pasty dough balls. The debate really comes down to are they really great cookies or is it just hype?  We went undercover to find out the truth.

On the positive side..

Sophomore Sydney V., “Crumbl introduces new flavors every week and never fail to make them taste good. They turn something as simple as cookies into a trend and an aesthetic. They never fail to impress! I rate it a 7.5/10”

Freshman Autumn S., “I like crumbl cookies because they are delicious. They literally melt in your mouth. I also like them because of the variety of flavors. I would rate it a 10/10”

Sophomore Leah M., “The cookies are always fresh. And on top of that they taste really good. Also there’s new flavors every week so there is always something new to try. I rate them a 10/10”

Sophomore Chloe A., “The people are friendly and the service is good plus they have new flavors every week and you can lengthen that up. Also like how big they are because you can share them plus they taste good and are soft. I rate them an 8/10”

On the negative side..

Freshman Starlyn M., “I don’t like crumbl cookies because it’s not as good as a cookie made on Christmas Eve. There’s not that many options to choose from. Now let’s talk about the texture. Some of the cookies are super dry and literally crumbly. I rate it a 2/10”

Sophomore Hannah M., “I think Crumbl cookies taste good and they’re really big so that is always a plus, but I also feel that they kind of all taste similar and are undercooked. I think that for the price and the hype they should taste different and be not as full of batter. I rate them a 6/10”

I tried them myself too..

Chocolate chip– Basic but good. It taste very soft, thick, and chewy bursting with delicious chocolate chips. I would rate it a 9/10.

Cookies n creme– a marbling of chocolate cookies and creamy white chocolate chips.It was warm and flavorful with Oreo taste. I rate this a 6/10.

Peanut butter ft. muddy buddies– a peanut butter cookie topped with milk chocolate, muddy buddies pieces, ands sprinkle of powdered sugar. The sweet nutty taste of peanut butter and the muddy buddies was a taste of chocolate. I rate this a 8/10.

Carrot cake- Is a spiced, sweet carrot cake with rich cream cheese frosting and pecan crumbl garnish. It was a moist fluffy spice cake with walnuts and a hint of carrot topped with cream cheese frosting. I rate would rate this a 10/10.
