What is the best lunch at LMHS? In this post, I will be rating all of the lunches offered at Lake Mary High School.
Yin & Yang Asian Cuisine
Starting off with Yin & Yang Asian Cuisine, I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken with noodles. The noodles were good, I liked how they had pepper flakes in them to add a bit of spice. The chicken was good as well, it could use some better cuts of chicken, but other than that, it was good. Overall, I would rate it an 8/10.
Mexology Mexican Cuisine
Next, I tried Mexology Mexican Cuisine. I got the rice bowl with black beans and chicken. The rice was kinda gross, it wasn’t Mexican rice, and had no flavor whatsoever, not even salt or pepper. The black beans were okay, I guess… I don’t really like black beans in general. The chicken was decent, it had some flavor, yet it wasn’t better than the teriyaki offered at Yin & Yang. Overall, I would rate it a 4/10.
The Roost
Hoping for a bit of better luck after trying Mexology, I went to The Roost, and ordered the signature chicken tenders with a biscuit. I also got some BBQ sauce for the chicken. Without the BBQ, the chicken is pretty flavorless… the BBQ is fantastic, though. Sometimes, the chicken has tendons or fat in it, and it is pretty gross. If you’re lucky, you will get some decent tenders. The biscuit was also flavorless, it could use a lot more salt. Other than that, it is made perfectly and has great texture. Overall I would rate this meal 7/10.
Pi Pizzeria
Finally, I bought a slice of pepperoni pizza at Pi Pizzeria. The pepperoni itself is pretty good, there wasn’t enough sauce on the pizza, and the crust tasted like cardboard. The pizza was baked well, it just isn’t a great recipe. Although, I did have a bit of better luck with the buffalo chicken pizza, it tasted great, even though the crust was still like eating cardboard. Overall, I would rate the pepperoni pizza 5/10, and the buffalo chicken pizza 7/10.
The clear winner is the teriyaki and noodles from Yin & Yang Asian Cuisine, with the highest score of 8/10. I would recommend this meal over any other meal offered at LMHS. It overall had the best flavor, texture, and satisfaction. Thank you for taking the time to read this post,
