Chicken Jockey. The phrase Jack Black said that DESTROYED the internet, had numerous people in Theaters screaming. Throwing popcorn, and workers are sick of it. But I would be too! They are NOT paid enough to deal with all of that! Since the movie isn’t even that good.. I am an ample HATER, I hated that movie with my heart and soul. And I will die on that hill. And I was not the only one, unsurprisingly.
“It was just a boring movie, with no plot, the climax SUCKED. I was HEAVILY disappointed that THIS was what was so hyped… and i don’t know why anyone would like it on its own. If you watched this with no concept of Minecraft, most people would hate it.” is what Joaquin said, who later claimed he was heavily disappointed that he even paid to watch it in the first place. “The movie is just Jack Black saying a Minecraft thing and getting overhyped because of how stupid it is,” Joaquin said in frustration, and he continued to complain for an hour. If you clicked on this, you might be an avid hater or a lover of the movie, when all it led up to was a baby zombie on a chicken, hence “chicken jockey.” This movie was blowing up on social media platforms like Tiktok, and so on.
Reportedly so audiences have trashed the theaters and left it in SHAMBLES when they got kicked out. There’s incidents of adolescent boys going around buying tickets, just to trash the theater. Minecraft fans are actually coming outside, but trashing theaters in the process. However, opposing such, Kelsey said and I quote, “yes!! I really enjoyed it, I LOVE OLD MAN YAOI!!!!!!!!” which may or may not be why this is being so overhyped, for two men having a rather close bond. BUT! I digress, which Kelsey goes on to list the pros of “while i don’t typically enjoy face paced movies! It worked very well for this one.” she goes on to say it was humorous, and uplifting along with “vibes” and goes into detail more with how Jack black and Jason Momoa had so much tension for absolutely no reason, she enjoyed how much everyone was super hyped about it, and how it brought people together. However, she does acknowledge the cons of how overhyped this movie was. Showing me a PSA the theaters put on for guests so as to not be terrorized. Which I quote says, “While you’re mining for laughs and dodging zombies: Don’t grief other guests (aka: be cool). Our staff aren’t mobs – don’t aggro them. No redstone contraptions in the aisles. Seriously.” She ended with, “Minecraft movie they can never make me hate you.” in a serious tone, which tells me she takes the Minecraft movie VERY seriously. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Kelsey enjoys the movie very much and Joaquin HATES it more than anything.
For such a mediocrely executed movie, it was way too overhyped. This movie brought out so many annoying fans for even people who enjoyed the movie. I mean really, “as a child i yearned for the mines” there were so many ways they could have made this movie. Comparatively what we got was full of filler rather than something exciting. This not only affected staff but other guests trying to enjoy the movie.
