For context, here is what my bus schedule usually goes like: I get up at 5:40 and make it to the bus stop at 6:18 and the bus promptly picks me up at 6:20 and I arrive at school at 6:30 usually and this is where the problems already start, PROBLEM #1: Most buses get to the school before 6:45 and 6:45 is when the doors open. Which means that until they do, you will have to wait in the bus for as long as it takes doing nothing until you are allowed out. And There are buses that get there earlier than I do, they could waste tons of extra time that could be put back into their morning. The school should either have those buses on a somewhat later schedule or open the doors earlier. Either option would be better than sitting around doing absolutely nothing.
PROBLEM#2 And while I’m on the bus the bus driver turns on the radio. Which would be fine but there is very poor signal on the bus and it is usually just garbled static the entire time with a vague semblance of words, and she refuses to turn it off despite this. Hopefully other buses don’t have this issue.
PROBLEM#3 The rule where buses must always stop at railroads has good intentions but is almost entirely useless Because they always stop, always! Even if another bus right in front of them has just got done listening for the train, the next one in line will set there and stop and open their doors to listen, again! and don’t even get me started on when the train actually passes. The bus driver and all the students will see the train literally pass the tracks RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR EYES and they will still wait for the train, come on people! it just passed, there’s no train just go!!! we were once in a traffic stop because the train just passed in front of us at the crossroads right, we saw it pass by right in front of us and when the cross guards lifted? “hey be quiet everyone we gotta listen for the train” oh yeah! you mean the one that just passed us?
HONORABLE MENTION: This is not a problem with the bus but rather the people on it, nobody buckles their seat belt! i don’t hear any clicks or see anyone secured, come on people please wear your seat belts!
