Imagine being able to be in a hotel in the middle of the ocean. Cruises include everything you need like food, entertainment, and transportation between all the beautiful destinations. Many people worry, “I’ll get sea sick” and “I’ll feel claustrophobic on the sea”, but a cruise is an amazing experience that you won’t be able to stop raving about. So, if you’re considering your first cruise and haven’t taken the chance, here are many reasons why you will love it as much as I do.

Going on a cruise as a teenager is one of the best experiences you may ever have. Most cruises have kids clubs open every night. No matter how long your cruise is, you can make friends for that time. Girls, you could have a cruise boyfriend! Spending time with people you may never see again could be sad, but it will encourage you to spend every minute doing something fun. Wise words from my mom, “you could sleep when you’re dead” or at least when you’re home.

There are about 54 cruise lines, you may have heard of Carnival, MSC, Royal Caribbean, Disney, and the newest being Icon of the Seas. Here’s what some people think of these cruise lines. I interviewed Jaydalis Colon who’s been on 4 carnival cruises and she said, “I like the energy of every crew member”. “The parties they have bring everyone together, even when celebrating the small things”. Gabriella Herrero went on a Disney cruise last year and said she likes “How characters came on the screen and would talk to people at dinner” and “Characters would customize doors making every moment very special”. Lastly, Sophia Chipchack cruises on Royal Caribbean one of her favorite things is how social you can be, “everyone is kind and you can make a lot of friends”.

Cruising is very beneficial; you’ll be at sea with no phone, service, or social media. This will allow you to enjoy your time on the ship and take in every moment. Even if it’s watching the sunrise or listening to the waves crash. You will have time to spend with your family or whoever you are with on that ship. If you want a good time overall, book that cruise!
