The craze over “Tomadachi Life Living The Dream” is insane. Everyone wants it. TLLTD (Tomadachi Life Living The Dream) is the switch version of TL (Tomadachi Life). It has been updated to work on the switch and to be “better”. But I don’t think it is.
TL was made to run on the 3DS. It held 100 miis. TLLTD runs on the switch. A console made to hold MUCH MORE DATA, yet only holds 70 miis. They also removed staple locations like the concert hall, the town hall, the compatibility tester, the ranking board, and many of the mini games. With this much removed in the game, you would expect a lower price point. TL had a manufacturing suggested retail price of $34.99, while TLLTD is at $59.99.
I will say since the 3DS eShop is closed, you now must pay over a hundred dollars to get your hands on a copy of the original game. Honestly, that might be worth it to get the full experience.
In TL it took about a month to foster relationships, in TLLTD it takes a day or two. For some people you may like this, but it takes away the part that makes you come back to play everyday.
Anymonous says, “I really enjoy the new game, but I wish it had the concert hall. Seeing the videos of people playing with the concert hall is so cool”.
Anymonous says, “I haven’t gotten the game because I just can’t afford that price tag. Maybe it’ll drop in price soon?”.
