Is College Necessary for Success?

Is+College+Necessary+for+Success%3F

The question of whether college is necessary for success is a big big discussion, with arguments on both sides. Being successful is primarily based on perspective, which can be the college path or the self path. Some people can argue that a college degree is very important for achieving success in today’s workforce, other people can argue that success can be attained through different paths such as homeschooling, entrepreneurship and many more.

Many people believe the importance of college, because it can provide a wider range of opportunities, and a higher knowledge. In today’s workforce many companies require college degrees for work positions. There have been studies showing that going to college can be more successful and earn higher salaries. In my opinion I’m going to go to college to get more opportunities in the future and get a higher knowledge. But I also know that college isn’t for everyone.

Other people can say that college doesn’t necessarily lead to success. Some of the most successful people never went to college and did many good things for the world. Many are actively pursuing careers they love and are passionate about, without a college degree. Being successful without a college degree depends on the efforts and patience you put into your chosen career.

Many people can say that entrepreneurship can be a gateway to success, while not going to college. Entrepreneurship can offer a unique pathway to success for many reasons. It allows individuals to pressure their positions on their own and create their own path. Which leads to creative freedom which can lead to being more satisfied in work. If one doesn’t like college, entrepreneurship might just be the way to go.

There are many paths to becoming successful. College doesn’t define being successful. My friend Allie said “I’m definitely going to college but there are other alternatives to become successful if you don’t want to go to college.” Being successful is primarily based on perspective, which can be the college path or the self path. My friend Sam said “ I’m going to college but you can still become successful without going to college.” In the long run there are other alternatives than college which can lead to success.
