What type of role do you serve in Drama Club?
“In Drama Club, I am a very active member. I attend all the meetings, and work to produce all the plays and musicals.”
What is a typical day like in the LMHS Drama Club? What activities or jobs do you do?
“There are many ways for people to contribute to the club, but for me, I am a part of Set Crew. A typical day in Drama club would be working on crafting the set for our productions. It involves painting, using tools to screw things in, or cutting wood.”
What is your favorite part about Drama Club?
“My favorite part about Drama Club is all the amazing productions we produce. We work behind the scenes for weeks, and for all of it to come together to be performed in front of an audience is amazing. Seeing the audience’s faces and hearing their laughter after all the hard work everyone has done is an incredible feeling.”
If you had another role in drama club, what would it be?
“I would love to be a part of another crew. Costume Crew works on organizing the department’s costume closet. They also pick out/create clothes for our actors to wear in our productions.”
So far, which play/musical has been your favorite?
“My favorite musical has been the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Everyone did an amazing job, and the acting and singing were phenomenal. Working on the set was so much fun, and our opening night went very well. It was such a unique experience!”
