Mr. Miessau is a teacher at Lake Mary high school. He teaches the subject forensics, he teaches all the grade levels in high school. Jasmine, in the eleventh grade says “He’s really good at describing what’s being taught and in general he’s a enjoyable teacher.” Most students who decide to take his class enjoy it, most describe him as laid back and doesn’t give out tons of homework. Another student describes him as a “Great teacher, makes it easy to learn, and makes it fun. Also gives a great understanding.” Ayanna also in eleventh grade. Mr. Misseau is generally relaxed, funny, and teaches well.

1. Q. Growing up did you always want to be a teacher? If not, what did you want to be growing up and why? A. “No, I was going to be a Chef. I loved cooking for people.”
2. Q.What do you like to do when you are not teaching?                                                                                               A. “Being with family, fishing and traveling.”
3. Q.Have you been a teacher anywhere other than at Lake Mary? If so, where and for how long?                        A. “No. I start at LMHS in Dec 2002 after being in the military.”
4. Q.How long have you been teaching? Do you have any side jobs?                                                                             A. “16 yrs, Yes, I am a Certified Athletic Trainer and I work sporting events outside of school.”
5. Q. What were your least and favorite subjects when you were in school?                                                                A. “Language Arts and Social Studies.”
6. Q. When did you decide you wanted to teach forensics and why? What still motivates you to teach?              A. 2011, When Mr. Kotkin and Mr. Griffin asked If I would. I had previously been involved with Federal Law Enforcement and Investigations was a normal part of the job. I enjoy the student interactions.” 
7. Q. If you were to teach other subjects what would they be?                                                                                     A. “All Anatomy & Physiology, It‘s my passion.”
8. Q. Did you ever attend high school at Lake Mary?                                                                                                      A. “Yes, all 4yrs, Graduated in 1987.”
9. Q. Are you married? If so, how long have you been married? And do you have any children?                         A. “Yes, Second marriage. Less than a month, been together 12yrs, 3 children, 1 biologic son 30yrs old also graduated from LMHS 2006, 2 step, 1 female 22yrs old, and 1 male 21yrs old.”  
10. Q. Is there anything at Lake Mary that you don’t like? What are some of the things you like about Lake Mary?                                                                                                                                                                                    A. “Likes: the family atmosphere, Dislikes: some of the educators have not adjusted to current student  population, believing in the old educational principals.”
