Chicken tenders or chicken sandwich? Crispy or grilled? Around here, people love eating chicken at a local restaurant. Well, they are in luck because there are a lot of chicken places that one can choose from. Listed below are a couple of the most popular when I talked with fellow residents. Do you feel the same?
Chick fi la
Chicken fi la is one of the most popular fast-food restaurants in the nation with nearly 3,000 locations. With Chick fi la being so widespread and popular, many people say it’s their favorite chicken restaurant. Chick fi la’s chicken is real and fresh, so they serve high quality chicken. Cara C. says, “I would pick Chick fi la. I love Chick fi la’s chicken sandwiches. They are perfectly crispy and seasoned. She isn’t the only one who loves their chicken sandwiches. Michelle M. says, “I like Chick fi la because there is such wide variety of options. If you don’t want fried chicken, there is grilled and if you don’t want tenders or nuggets, there are sandwiches. I usually get the sandwiches because they are yummy.” Also, Bianca L. says, “When I go to a chicken place, it is usually Chick fi la. It always tastes super good because of the fried bread of the outside. Also, when you dip it into your sauce of choice, it tastes so much better.” Chick fi la isn’t just tasty, it is affordable to a lot of people.
Dave’s Hot Chicken
Dave’s hot chicken is the newest chicken restaurant that has come to Lake Mary. They are known for their Nashville style hot chicken. David S, “Dave’s hot chicken is my favorite because I really like that the menu is simple, and their chicken is crispy and spicy. My favorite style of chicken is Nashville hot, and they do that very well.” David isn’t the only one who thinks Dave’s hot chicken makes their chicken well. Chloe C. says, “I like Dave’s hot chicken. The quality of the chicken is good. Everything tasted very fresh, and it was still piping hot from the fryer. The chicken tenders were still moist, had a great crunch and really good flavor. The fries were seasoned and crispy and the sauce was really good. It elevated whatever you put it on.” Is your mouth watering yet for some chicken?
Huey Magoos
Huey Magoos is a local chain that started here in central Florida. They hand bread their crispy chicken daily and marinate the grilled chicken for 24 hours. Xavier B. says, “I believe that Huey Magoos has some of the best chicken in Lake Mary. Its chicken is always crispy and very delicious. Huey Magoos stands out though because of its amazing fries and Magoos sauce. They really compliment the chicken well and elevates the experience above other chicken restaurant for me. Xavier isn’t the only one who feels like the chicken is delicious with the sauces. Hannah M. says, “I think Huey Magoos is the best chicken because I work there, and I like that there is a large dip selection.” Huey Magoos has all kinds of sauces for you to dip your chicken in which makes the chicken very yummy and flavorful.
Raising Canes
Although not a local option, one of the most popular chicken places in my poll was Raising Canes; however, the closest one is 2 hours away in Gainsville, Florida in case you want to check it out.
Raising Canes is an American fast-food chain specializing in chicken. They are likeable because they are quick with getting people’s orders in and out. Brianna P. says “I like Raising Canes chicken the best because the vibe of the restaurant is cool, and they have disco balls. They have the best sauces to dip your chicken tenders in which makes it very tasty. It’s a great place for a quick stop to get some chicken tenders. Brianna is a local here in central Florida who recently went to Chicago and ate Raising Canes.
