In 2018, a lot of kids died at school and parents are pissed off. At the start of 2018 CNN reported that this year 35 students died 25 students died from mass shootings. I say we need tougher gun laws. President Trump pushed for stricter background checks. I agree with the President. The United States needs stricter background checks. This will decrease the number of deaths.

In 2017 of October a gunman of the name of Stephen Paddock killed 58 people and left and 422 wounded. He kept leaving and entering Mandalay Bay Hotel that he was staying at with a suspicious amount of large bags. Little did the guards known they all were filled with guns and ammo. The shooter left of more than 1,000 rounds injuring a total of 851 people around 9pm. Before police arrived they found the man dead by a bullet in his head in the room that he was firing the rounds from. In reference too, in every hotel they need more security guards on watch looking for any kind of suspicious activity.

On June 12 in 2016 Omar Mateen killed 49 people and left 53 wounded from the shooting. AS police arrived it ended up to be around a 3 hour stand off with the police and the suspect. Omar set the record for the deadliest mass shooting by a single shooter in United States History.

In conclusion guards and the government need to run background checks on every person who goes to purchase a gun.
