Lacrosse girls have a reputation for being aggressive so we decided to interview the most aggressive female lacrosse player of all time, Mikala Thomas, to get the full T.  

 

Q: What is your best skill and worst skill in lacrosse?

 

A:  Mikala’s best skill is draw control and her worst skill is circle. 

 

  1. What are you most excited for the upcoming season? 

 

  1. Getting to take on more of a leadership role on the field and at practice 

 

Q: What advice do you want to give upcoming freshman 

 

A: Don’t worry about mistakes, messing up is a part of the game, the coaches or players wont get mad if you mess up as long as you recover, so breathe and keep going hard.

 

Q: what made you want to pursue a career in lacrosse and play at the collegiate level 

 

A: 

 

Q: what stood out about stetson from all of the other colleges and what made you commit to that school

Q: Describe your ideal guy?

 

A: “big muscles, you have to play a sport cant be to clingy”

 

Q: how many lacrosse sticks do you own 

 

A: “I have 25 sticks in total. 15 girls lacrosse sticks and 9 boys sticks and one goalie stick.”

 

Q: have you ever had a disagreement with a coach and how did you handle it 

 

A: Yes she has had a disagreement and she handles it by just suggestion other choice for the coaches to give her an answer

 

Q: where do you see yourself in 10 years 

 

A: stay at home mom 

 

Q: what are your five favorite songs 

 

A: cant get enough by J.Cole, Workout by J.cole, Neighbors by J.cole, father stretch my hands by kanye, Meltdown by travis scott 

 

Q: what tips would you give younger players like me 

 

A: Do as much as you can now so you dont regret not doing it later also and you should only have 3 priorities in life and mikala’s 3 priorities are her family, lacrosse and school 

 

Q: should boys and girls have the same rules in lacrosse 

 

A: No, the game would lose a huge number of people and wouldmt be able to grow as much because i think the physicality would deter some people from joining or contijuiing to play.
